As much as I appreciate looking at ladies, and I appreciate the effort that people go to in posting stuff, WHY NOT POST THE WHOLE DAMN SET?

I'm not pissing around with RS and a zip unless the girl's super hot, and worthy of my hard disk.

Why are some of the noobs so fucking lazy?

You look at masterpieces like French Fred's 500th celebration post getting bumped down by threads with 5 pics in.

I'm aware of the 'at least 5 pics for a hotlink' rule, but can we change this for RS posts? It's not technically linking to another site as such, just linking to a zip of the pics. This is useful if you like the set, but how the fuck can you judge that from 5 pics?

I tend to format my posts like the one you showed above, but I also try to provide a broad overview of the set i'm posting from (i.e first pic is generally the first pic of the set, progressing thru to the fifth thumb being the last of the set). Is this still acceptable or are you mainly lashing out at "oh i'll post the first 5 pics as a preview" sort of thing?

 

I guess I can see where you're coming from. If I'm looking for Aria pics, though, I like 'em zipped. I don't have to save each one individually that way.

As for posts with 5 pics... if you post a decent set, is it really possible for 5 pics to be representative? If I posted 50 pics, and was only gonna post 5, I'd want to choose the hottest looking ones. The problem with that is that when you get the product home, it might not be looking like the advert, know what I mean?

You might disagree with me, and this isn't an attack on the people that have been here for a long time, posting quality shit throughout. I'm in no position to climb on my high horse and start lecturing them.

However, it seems to be the case that there's a lot of people posting 5 pics then an RS link at the moment. It might be getting more popular because it's obviously quicker than uploading the full set before a link, but I feel it degrades the forum. The days of protecting the 56kers are effectively dead - we're all on quick connections, and we're not paying for storage space, so what's stopping us showing each other the full set on here?

I'm saying zip 'em, and upload them if you like (or if there's demand), but why not preview more (or all) of the final product?

 

I apologize replying here cause the 'masterpiece work' made me blush but I have to say I like zipped files cause they are easier to download. I feel frustrated when I try to get all pics than I saw thumbs and some links don't work; I'm sure (a lil'more) than all the pics will be in the zip.
Another thing is to put thumbs of the best pics of the sets; I agree with you, Doc, that's like lying advertising. So if you, guys, want to use zips, post your thumbs according to the best representativeness.

 

Well, it all depends for me. Yeah, I never post just five but if the set is only 15-30 pics then I do post the whole set and without a zip. I am sorry but if someone can't be bothered with the effort to make the same 30 clicks I made to upload them then that person can go to hell.

I do understand that 100 pic sets take a little more time so I do tend to upload those with an RS zip. Even then, when RS is slow, I won't post a zip. People bitch at me for that but, you know, if I take a half hour or more to post the damned set for someone else to jerk off to then they should at least appreciate my efforts by simply downloading them without negative comment.

Or, people need to start contributing how they want to be contributed to. If we all want a full 100 thumbs with a zip then everyone should post that way. If not, then take it how comes. This forum is a luxury, not to abide by minority complaints.

I don't know about pic posters but it's annoying in the vid vault. I remember this asshat who kept asking why his posts got trashed. I said because you did not post a pic or description. He replied it's porn does it matter. Well for one thing I can point out 5 reposts of the same rs vid on this forum. A pic can help me see what I am downloading and to see if it's a repost. A time can tell me if a full vid or a small clip. Also there is a member who post alot of mu threads and just provides a link a vague description. So I dl'ed a trashed thread and this guy posted a vid of the fattest, ugliest chick I have ever seen. Now I don't know if he was playing a joke or this is what he likes but thats the point of posting following the rules.

 

well i dont post sets, jus opendirectories so i guess i aint part of it . I do agree with you though i'd rather have a lazy guy who posts at least some pics and a full set .zip than a guy who posts 2 images using imagecash just to make money and for no other reason (you know what im talking bout )

i mean this is all based on free participating and - it works, ok some do more
posts then others or describe their vids more detailed and post whole sets with
tons of Pics - but i think this is not a Firm where im forced to WORK hard or i get

I can see where you are coming from... but for me, I do this as a quick hobby and I am not willing to spend more time than I am now to post. I prefer to get zips rather than clicking on every single link to download a pictures... I just don't have the time to do it

Actually i like links to PicturePages better than Sets in the Forum, bcoz i get some more Infos about the Gurl and Yall dont have to put that big upload&copy&pasteshiz
effort to show us the pics; and i can select which Pics i really wanna save on my hdd
coz i dont just gather pics, i preselect them concerning my taste

i too can see where youre comming from but i dont have the time or patience to upload a 200+ pic set. its just not gonna happen.
