Do we ever see her doing any actual gymnastics? I'm sure she's good, or she wouldn't be on the team.

LSU knows what they are doing. Their entire team is total smoke show.

With dunne as far as how good she is. Depends on what. Is she Olympic level good? Not even close. However at college level on the uneven bars she is one of the elite. One of the best and at times the best in the country. But then she is straight garbage on everything else (compared to other division one gymnists). Rarely ever takes part in other things unless required for singles, or multiple people hurt in team competitions.

 

She's not like Bouchard or Kournikova... Dunne is legit!

I think she knows her male fan base really well, since they're her cheerleaders in the stands. lol!

 

That is the direction gymnastics is going... days of someone being exceptional at multiple events are long gone. Just look at last Olympics where no gymnast (either male or female) won medals in different individual events (discounting team and all-around events). In fact, most of the medalist on individual events came to olympics to compete in just that one event!

 

Yeah, but even on her best event of uneven bars she isn't that good. Out of three SEC championships, her best showing was in 2021 when she managed to place fifth with a score of 9.90, then 2022 she dropped way down to 17th with 9.875 and then 2023 even further down to 28th with 9.85.

I had a look at her all-around results at major tournaments and.. welp, yeah she's pretty poor-average in that world. Good job she's pretty!

Considering most gymnasts today don't even compete in all-around competition and are focusing on just one event (just look at the medalists on last Olympics) those results are not as bad as I expected them to be... I'd be more interested to see what her results on uneven bars are since that is supposed to be her main focus.
