  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

Just wanted to post a heads up. Sometimes when trying to look at images posted from imagevenue, an ad on those pages will try to serve up a virus after sending you a corrupt PDF file. You'll notice this when trying to view a picture there, and then after freezing up for second, you get a dialog telling you that acrobat reader crashed.

Only happens once every few dozen pics, but it's a pain.

    -edit:

I meant imagevenue, fixed the above post.

Thanks for the warning. A decent Anti-Virus will help stop your PC from getting infected. And contrary to what some will say, the free ones are actually better than the ones you pay through the nose for every year.

I did not get infected, just wanted to get the word out. It's just a pain for Acrobat reader to be loading up, using up 100% CPU, and a gig of ram, and then crashing after a 10 second freeze up.

I'll have to contact imagevenue later. Too bad I don't know what ad it is. I think it may actually be blank.
