  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

Lately when I click on some "Imagevenue" caps I get a virus warning from my Eset nod32 av.

If anyone can shed some light on this or is/has happened to you let us know please.

Here's a screenshot of the warning I get which has been hosted on imagebam:p

Its a bit weird but its happened a few times now and starting to piss me off.

    Cheers

Imagebam locks up my computer sometimes. I love looking at Euphoria's pics but her host kicks the shit out of my computer.

i started to dislike imagevenue for other reasons (at least some of their servers suck recently) - but i don´t think this trojan-issue is an imagevenue-issue.
they simply host what people upload, guess you can´t blame imagevenue for people uploading images containing malware.

as Lotion said it would be nice to get a link to a thread as an example.

I get annoyed with imagevenue when uploading because when I double click on a pic, it opens up one of their banners unless you move the box away.

There is no problem with imagevenue. As River says there must be some malware in the pic hosted itself. I have never experienced any trojans or adware/malware at imagevenue.

Only 2 things I dislike about imagevenue are -
:> It has stopped hosting full image preview for forums.
:> Few of the images from a full set go dead quite fast now.
