  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Imagefap.com is another ImageCash knock-off. Pay per image view to the registered spamme- sorry, users.

    I've seen it crop up here and at a few other boards. It's only new, but the usual gang of idiots who loved ImageCash are starting to jump on board.


    The effect it has on forums is like a virus. Because the people posting don't really care about quality, just quantity. And they're reknowned for bumping their threads just to stay on top of the pile. They're doing it for the money, not for the enjoyment of sharing with others.

    But a warning to people using it, or considering using it.

    Last week it was $1 for every 5000 Imageviews.

    Like ImageCash they'll keep moving the goalposts.

    To the phun admin (love your site by the way), consider adding imagefap.com to your list of banned image hosts.

    Cheers muchly Vadge. The rules state that any 'pay-per-click' host is banned so it won't have to be amended, but I'll keep eyes open and trash any of these threads.
