    Anything after the scene where she talks about her family coat of arms was just useless.
    The whole govt. agency thing is just absurd and pointless (mostly absurd).

    They should have stopped the episode when she gets the final outfit (the coat of arms suit) and left it there. If the whole series is gonna be about her working with the govt agency then it won't last.

    As for CW and other DC series. CBS owns 1/2 of the CW (WB owns the other half) so it's not really much difference


    as for the show itself.. I liked the pilot.. look forward to seeing how it evolves... The govt thing is needed cause it will drive story lines...Supergirl never had a main arch nemesis like Lex luther was for superman so they need a way for her to investigate or even discover the escaped villains she will be hunting down.

    I know I'm comparing a movie to a TV show but:
    Superman 2 never needed a government agency to deal with Zod. Plus he was able to develop an earth-based enemy without Zod in the first movie.
    I don't have a problem with the "finding the villains" story line but the govt. agency part is kinda stupid

    I'll give it a few more episodes just in case, it might just have a crappy pilot. But for me this was a very uninteresting super hero show.
