How do I put in a custom sig??

How do i create a custom sig like so many people have around here??

i am new here, so please forgive my ignorance!

 

the sigs are created with Adobe Photoshop. And we work on them for hours, or pay somebody who is a proffessional to do so for us.


and yes, they are like currency and a sign of longevity and pride and status on the forum. If you get one, we will automatically think you are cooler. So run out and pay $800 for photoshop and then $1200 for a class on how to use photoshop.... and then make an awesome sig and come back here and be cool

 

LOL, so true reachbackand I spent thousands on mine.

Use the usercp link near the top of the page to get to the control panel there you can edit your sig. If you want to upload a picture and use it as a sig, upload it a site that allows hot links, www.picrack.com for example. Then just insert the link they give into the sig edit box.

 

LOL they are easy to make you don't need to spend hours on them or money to see how to do it. There are tons of free sites that will help

 

Download Adobe Photoshop from a p2p program or a torrent, muck around with the stuff in it, the more you do the better they become. ;-)

Is there a size requirement on the sig...I have a jpg at 69kb...

 

Look at mine I think maybe a quater of inch taller would be accetable.

 

I knocked it down to 19kb...here it is...
