  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. How Do I Get A ScreenShot From A Video??

    Ive been searching around and havent seen a thread on here about this..

    To get a ScreenShot you press Alt+PrintScreen right...

    ok i did that on a video and imported it into Paint then i cut it and saved it but when i open it up the picture isnt there just the border of Windows media player and a black screen where the picture should be

    So i know theres people out there that know how to do this and im just trying to get some help maybe some good suggestions like programs that you use or a good tecnique cuz im new here and im trying to contribute buy posting up vids but i see how people say like hmm can you put some screenshots up before i dl the video

    Well, the thread is here and you really can't miss it as it's stickied in the Video Forum. Personally, I use this method. Nothing is easier than Media Player Classic. I don't use it for my video watching but it screencaptures in a snap.

    I didnt see anything about it cuz i was looking for screenshot or videoscreen shot sorry but thanks though hope this works

    This may or may not be in Tommy's thread about screen-caps, but if you are using Media Player, go to options and turn video acceleration to nothing, then do the print screen, paste in paint, save as jpeg and it will work for you.

    I dled media player Classic and that method works good but then i Tried Kieks method and damn that works great too thanks for all the help every1 now time to post some vids
