  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Hello,

I did a quick search and couldn't see this being discussed anywhere...

I was just wondering what the possibility is of having an option to save favourite searches (say for a particular model or pornstar) and also be sent email notifications when people start threads that contain your favourite searches?

I got idea when I was on eBay 'cos you have this option on eBay Accounts.

The reason I ask is because there are so many times when I miss a thread for whatever reason and then when I finally see it then it's way past the two week resurrection rule and I'm either unable to thank people for a kick ass post or the link is dead and I'm unable to ask for a re-up or whatever.

I have far too many favourites to remember to search for them all everytime I visit...lol

Anyway, it's just a thought. Lemme know what you think.

sounds like a good idea to me, but it may very hard to implement in vbulletin. i'm sure it'd take a ton of programming

Thanks for the comment. I have to admit I have no idea about the technical ins and outs, it was just an idea. In hindsight, email notifications is probably a bit over the top - I wonder if would be possible to just be notified on login of new threads for your favourite searches...
