  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

Download Accelerator issue with 001 files (repost in correct forum)

    Sorry moderators I should of posted this in here, please delete from the general forum,

    Hi Guys

    I hope you can advise me, I use Download Accelerator to get the movies, however thy get downloaded as 001.html files and not 001 files. an HJjoing will not pick up a 001.htmp, I'm using windows XP SP2.
    The only way I can download is to click Save target as and it will download as a 001 file unless the person posting the file has changed their file and remove the .html off their link to rapidshare. for example

    http://rapidshare.de/files/5515504/aimee_busty.avi.001 (works ok)
    but
    http://rapidshare.de/files/5515504/...ty.avi.001.html will download, but as a 001.html file

    Could anyone advise how I can adjust the setting in Download Acelerator to correctly pick up 001 links. Thank you in advance for your help

    The html extension takes you to the home page where you can click free or premium then save the target once rapid share takes you there.Unless you have premium though rapidshare won't let you use a download mgr.

    I do have a premium account, the issue is how the download manager handles the file.

    Have you checked your settings in the premium zone (top lef corner on Rapidshare page) ??
    Look at the last line of this page " RapidShare-Downloads start immediately (no HTML-pages before)" and verify if the "tick case" is checked.
    Personnaly, i'm using Getright, and with this configuration it woks fine
