Damn, All the DEAD LINKS!!

Damn people you need to clean up the site. I have checked out over 200 links and 3 have been alive! I'm not talking about fileshare and filesonic and the others that have cut off access from U.S. IP reguest, I'm talking RS, DF, Mediafire and the list could go on.

Someone needs to wright a script or something to go through the site and delete the post that are dead and clean this F-ing place up! I know it's all a waste of time for any of us to be surfing porn and shit, but give me a break! 200 that's two hundred links dead with (3) three alive!!!

If I wasn't stuck with a dialup connection I'm sure it would have been 10 times that amount, but I'm tired of doing a search and finding nothing but DEAD LINKS!!

CLEAN UP THE SITE PEOPLE, PLEASE!!!!!!!

I don't see what a post count or upload count has anything to do with it. Do a search for Ideepthroat or hell anything and see how many links are dead. You want me to go back and post dead links, say so or enable a button to report them, I would be glad to mark them as I go along. Thats my point that the two of you just don't get, make something happen so that surfers/users can get this friggin place cleaned up. When people just reply with:

Do you think this is the only forum with porn on the internet? What does being a contributer have to do with it? How many people come here and don't contribute, do you know there mr know it all? Plus if you had read my post you will see I said I have a dialup account, yea I know "get a faster connection" some places in the world (about 70%) still do not have access to high speed internet connections and believe me if I could get it where I live I would, but it's not available. If I did have HS, I would sure as hell be uploading, but at 39.3kbps it's kind of silly to even try don't ya think dickweed?

Now like I said, the place needs to be cleaned up so do you want to be a part of the solution or do you just want to run you mouths?

Mods: Ban me flame me do what you want, but the point still is relevant. This place is F-ing full of dead links and needs work, somebody needs to get off there rear ends and make something happen besides blowing smoke and "members" saying "Oh, post something before bitching, Oh I need proof, bla F-ing Bla F-ing bla !!!

 

Maybe first you should check how old a link is, not all links have eternal life. It's not up to the mods to check every link, even original uploader may not have the file anymore. If you don't like Phun, then log out and never come back. At least half of your posts are complain posts.

 

do you have any clue how much processing power it would take to run a script that would check every link on the forum and delete the threads/posts where they are in.. or to save them somewhere where the owner could renew the links?

You can report dead links in Forum Issues if you like but pro-actively removing posts with dead links is not a staff priority. Nor will it ever be, because the staff has more pressing issues here to deal with, not to mention the fact that none of us are robots with gobs of spare time on our hands to spend on such a menial task. That's the reality of it.
