Movie insiders shared that Dakota made sure the crew or the cast would not see her intimate area as well. These insiders shared that she wore a “pubic wig” or “merkin” to protect her modesty. This would not be obvious to those who would see the film and not affect the nude scenes. In general, this will also make sure a film would still get a rating that can cover a wider audience. Most actresses with nude scenes wear it, the insiders revealed.

One source shared to Daily Star that even with the merkin, the sexual tension in the scenes was still real and performed well. “As far as I know, she had never used one before and it would be true to say Dakota was more than a little nervous about pretending she was in the throes of sexual ecstasy while wearing it,” but she and Jamie "rocked the scenes."
