Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

Well, I'm trying to make a copy of some DVDs and I'm having trouble getting some good software. I want a program that can split the disk so I can put it on two 4.7GB DVDs. I used to have a version of DVD X Copy that would do all of this just fine, but just recently I got a virus and I was forced to reformat which left me without this program.

I've been trying to get DVD X Copy Platinum but so far I haven't been able to get it registered.

So my question is this. What programs do you guys use to copy DVD's and where do I get them and get them registered?

Another good program is CloneDVD2. You can take out what you want, and keep the rest, and if you don't want to split it, you can "reshape" the video to fit, the software re-encodes the video at a lower resolution to save space, but it does an excellent job - even at 85% reduction, I really can't tell a major difference on a lot of my DVD's. Very user friendly, I have what you need if you need it, PM if you'd like.

And anyone else PM me about this if you want, I probably won't be in this particular forum much to read replies.

I use DVD decrypter and DVD shrink.....

You can remove what you want with shrink and compress it to fit on one disc, I usually remove the menus and special features. The movie itself requires minimal compression so you dont lose quality.

Thanks for the help guys, I'm a burning fool now. Of course I'm only making backup copies of movies that I produced and/or have expressed written consent to make copies. (wink-wink)
