    amazon prime just reversed the renewal of The Peripheral those POS to do that is just WRONG. They lost me as a subscriber because of this

    It's nothing to do with pettiness. The writers are on strike, so there's nobody to write it. The actors are on strike, so there's nobody to star in it. Because of these two things, they can't film it which means they don't have the time needed to film it, put it into post-production and get it on the schedule for release.

    I disagree as pettiness has everything to do with it because the right thing to do would be delay it and then release it later.

    Instead, they did what they did to punish the actors and writers for striking.

    And that is all the more reason to support the strike as the actors and writers deserve to win the strike.

    The studios can't just indefinitely delay projects whenever they feel like. TV and Film are a business, same as any other. They have schedules and release windows for a reason, if they don't put a product out by a certain date, they lose money

    They didn't cancel the show to punish the actors and the writers, the actors and the writers shot themselves in the foot, as they were warned by many industry analysts that they would be doing.

    That is completely wrong and what the studios are doing just goes to prove that the actors and writers are right to strike as they deserve to be treated with respect and what they are asking for is perfectly reasonable so there is no reason the studios should be refusing to give them what they are owed.

    Everyone should support the actors and writers.
