From watching her show on E! and interviews on talk shows, I am pretty sure she is posting these just to thumb her nose at any convention that dictates prudishness, especially for women. In her first one, that was banned from Instagram, she argued about Putin posing shirtless, yet why a women couldn't do the same. She has always been one to skewer needless conformity and conservative convention, within the context of her comedy. I think she is comfortable enough in her skin and in her current fame/status to say "what the fuck, I don't care what happens, I'm going to do this."

 

This is her campaign to cause men all over the world to get tired of looking at boobs.

^^^Maybe like you, I just heard that on The Soup today; a surprise to me. I guess when you compare her now with her pixilated clips from her show, you can see some difference.

 

I read she got her boob lift last year around the ending of her E! show. Lifts usually take a while to heal and the breast tissue needs time to settle, likely that was around the time she started to get topless for instagram. She just went public about the lift this week.

 

Nope she has a whole year before her Netflix show is released. She needs to keep her public profile up in order to keep people interested in her; the best way to do that is to finally get her tits out, since most people haven't seen them. Yes she was topless in The Plotters which isn't the easiest movie to locate and few people have seen it or her audition tape with her topless sex scene in it. Chelsea's a comic and most comics know they have to hustle to succeed in their business; so the feminist want to think she's making a bold political statement great, but remember she went from being The New Queen of Late Night Talk to being cancelled, that had to really bruise her ego. On top of that, all seven of the TV shows she produced through her company Boarderline Amazing Productions are cancelled and off the air: Pretty Wild, Love you mean it, Are you there? Vodka it's me Chelsea, After Lately, Whitney, Chelsea Lately and Hello Ross all gone. Chelsea really needs this new show to be a hit, thus she brought out the big guns, so to speak.
