  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    problem: i'm using firefox, and since recently, i can't see the uploaded images in the threads anymore. Anyone know how to fix this ?

    start contributing and it will start showing up. The more you post pictures the more firefox will allow you to see. We here at phun are in cahoots with Fire Fox developers to restrict the amount of free leeched porn. :D

    Do you use AdBlock? If so you could be blocking the hosting sites with that (try turning it off and refresh the page)

    Or most likely a firewall issue,especially with Zone Alarm and using the ad blocking feature.

    Not really related to this issue, per se, but has anyone else noticed that the image-hosting site, http://imagehaven.net , has gone down.

    I am not sure if it my browser or not(Opera), or if it is under some temporary maintenance at this time.

    I just hope it didn't all of a sudden shut down completely :(

    imagehavens HD got busted. it works for few minutes at a time and we are trying to get the backups as fast as possible. then the provider will change the harddisk and we will be online again.

    Sorry for the troubles. we are trying. but its fucking hard when the server is somewhere you arent

    Wow! I had no idea one of our resident Phunners maintained one of my favorite image-hosting sites. It is great! :D

    Hope to see it back online soon, and best of luck in repairing what was lost. ;-)
