The whole world is wondering, what is this? No Sports Illustrated special has received as little commentary online as the 2023 issue. Why? Very easily. Because, even women, don't want to see such women in such ugly bikinis and bathing suits as in this 2023 edition.

People dream of vacation, of beautiful bodies, of summer, of the beach and of hot women in great bikinis and bathing suits. From fit men in surfer shorts and swimming trunks. But not about what they want to sell us as a so-called diverse reality.

Women like Lais Ribero, Kate Upton, Tyra Banks, Christie Brinkley, even sports stars like Caroline Wozniacki, Eugenie Bouchard, and whatever their names are, belong in a special issue like this. Yes, a Kim Kardashian or a Candice Swanepoel have more to look for there than a former man like Kim Petras. Or alleged models like Yumi Nu or Lauren Chan.

Yes, I don't see these women as models. Also because they do not correspond to the supposed ideal. But all well-built women also belong to the "women" and should belong to them just like any other woman. Because not every woman looks like Yumi Nu. A Lais Ribero is also one of the "women". Nobody can tell me that a woman like Yumi Nu doesn't also want to look like a Lais Ribero, like a Tyra Banks or like a Kate Upton.

When will this "divers" crap finally stop? I can only hope that this 2023 SI edition stays on the shelves like lead. Because then the publishers will also know what they have to do differently in 2024.
