  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

Bit-torrenting: Why? Why not?

    I've been a long time browser of the site and a very recent registered user. My question is why aren't bittorrents used for sharing larges files here? There's Rapidshare and Megaupload both of which limit non-paying users to some degree, but bt is free and not vulnerable to file removal due to any reporting or whatnot.

    Just wondering what the official stance is.

    The biggest problem with torrent files is that everybody can see your IP address,everybody can see how much you upload and how much you download.

    Anonymous sharing isn't possible.
