  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

Hi there, I'm from a fiber optic 10 Mb.
I normally browse and load pages @ phun.org at the speed of light.
Tonite... quite impossible to load a page (even without pics), same for imagevenue (it took me about 1 hour to load a 40 pics set...).

Phun is getting too busy or it's just a problem with my connection?
Just let me know if the pages load normally for you...

  2. Join the club just addressed the issue, and I am running cable. Blame it on all the mofo leechers and lurkers. My thumb is getting sore from all the buuton pushing on the mouse to go back a page.

Same problem mate. Read the Question about the Website topic in this same forum, cayne explained that there are server issues. Hell, this might motivate me to go read a book or do something else apart from spending as much time on here as possible throughout the day!...At least I can browse here in the afternoon when most will be asleep later on, one benefit of the time difference!

I've got a cable modem. Shit is still slower than it should be. Could it be:

    "Currently Active Users: 1212 (40 members and 1172 guests)" <<<at 5:37pm eastern?

That means that there are 30 times more guests than members. I don't know what the solution is, but phun.org is slower.
