I'm a Mod at another board for the last 7 years.

took a step back from there lately. with my Baby coming home, going to do the same here soon too.

 

I opened my first board in 1999 and I think it's still running. Been a mod on half a dozen boards but stopped actively taking part in them a while ago. Due to a complete lack of caring.

 

I think Scribe was hoping you'd name the boards you Mod/Admin for.......that way we have an idea of who is where in case we ever need help or information.

Not much chance anybody will open post non porn boards they are/have been on here. Google is everywhere.

Ive been an mod on 4 networking boards, a star support member on 1 OEM's customer support board, admin on an internal board (pubedu) and been a support member on a couple flavors of linux boards. Never been a mod on a picture board though, was never really been seriously interested. Certainly not to devote the time you guys do. It was fun way back when it was new and popular, but things have changed, imo, from participatory to service, and i already did my service to endusers time..

I'm an admin (and webmaster) on a forum for a small club that deals with mopeds, no porn there though unless you get off on watching low-powered motorcycles

 

I just launched my own place. Been working on making it perfect for around two and a half years. Only has one member so far apart from me. 14 posts between the two of us. Could do with a lot more.

I was a mod on the Mousepad, which is a foot related site. It was set up like phun, with various content sections, and CELEBRITY was by far the most visited. There were discussion and flames sections, flames existed of posts removed from the mainstream so the flamers could fight over nothing there.

The issues with celeb were always 18 and over, which was the rule; doctored content [celeb fakes] and reposts. When a celeb turned 18, posters would post all the pics of her before she turned 18 and they were warned and the post removed. We had a language filter so there was little to zero profanity. Guys could write they wanted to $%^&(# specific celeb up the #$@%^& and that's exactly how it would appear. Kids in pictures were banned and that was about the only reason a poster would be banned.

I helped build their ADULT forum to the point where every foot related video in existence was there. We did have occasional flack from producers and took down the content immediately. I removed many posts for inappropriate hosts, unapproved hosts or reposts. Adult performers have chosen a specific path and are getting paid for their work.

If one specific poster caused a lot of trouble we would discuss it in the mods only forum and PM the guy and tell him what would happen if he continued his behavior.

One larger problem existed which was, after a week, some celeb content was blocked and moved to a separate site which cost $19.95 a month. That pissed everybody off all the time and there were many nasty threads about it.

I left there about a year ago. They had their own domain and now are part of yuku.com, which helped with some technical issues. I visit there occasionally.
