  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

  4. ATTN: Imagehost picpie is infected with the "internet security warning" redirect that tries to take users hostage with an inescapable redirect. Avoid using picpie as an imagehost.

I'm not really a noob just want to pester the mods. No really I do have a question. Say if someone has started a thread with a certain theme, I have a related clip, is it rude to post my clip in their thread? Should I start a new thread of my own?

If it's current you might want to put it in there if it's from the same film but i don't think anyone will be annoyed if you start a new thread.

If it's an ongoing thread of a members you might want to PM them to ask permission.

I'm not a mod btw, mods are red.

Shouldn't be a prob, as long as you follow the posting rules it should be fine. As Jamms said, if you want to seek the go-ahead from the thread starter then you can't really go wrong.
