  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Good Afternoon, Dear Phun.org members, Imagevenue.com is here!

    I would like to take a moment to clarify a few things about imagevenue.com

    First of all, we do not distribute any trojans or malware. We had a misfortune of using clicksor.com as one of our banner advertisers. Through this banner, they have distributed malware and nasty popunders. We have banned them since. We ran them from 2008-09-07 to 2008-09-27.

    Secondly, when you browse large images on our site, you will get one popunder and one full-page-ad once in 12 hrs. Please understand that we run a large network of servers that need to be paid for. If you don't want to see a popunder, get a premium account for 1.66$ per month!


    Thirdly, we always have new advertisers come on board. We ask you to report any anti-virus software alerts to [email protected]. Don't just loose yourself in guesswork on phun.org. Email us with indication of your geo location and a type of alert triggered. We will try to locate and ban the malicious advertiser as quickly as possible.

    Lastly, please mark your content appropriately! Adult goes to adult, non-adult to non-adult!

    Yes, we are trying to get The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to pay monetary compensation to the affected users of malware distributions :)

    it used to be my favourite but the ads drove me away. plus i recenlty got mega infected and my pc still isnt right. i hope it wasnt through IV.

    Imagevenue's jumped the shark.

    I dont need to tell anyone that, but it'd be pretty sweet if the imagevenue webmaster had the balls to step up and admit it :)
