Much appreciated, but I'm curious as to why you chose the worst pic of the bunch to highlight in this thread. There are three others from that shoot that are closer and far more definitively see-through. To wit:

From those it appears that she is in fact wearing pasties. Granted her perk nip still manages to make itself known, despite said coverage.

 

I don't know where the hell you're seeing pasties.

 

Without x-ray work, I can't be for sure. But based of what I am seeing in the first and third pictures, I would say it is likely that she is wearing pasties. If you want specifics, I could say the kind of shape created in the first pic or the overall texture of the nipple/areola area or even the size of the areola may indicate pasties. But again, x-ray work would be required for me to be completely sure. And if I end up being wrong, I will be more than happy to be such.

Good question. The color images definitely have more 'digital bits' saved to the file, theoretically (including all three (RGB) color planes).

I'd taken a quick look at one of the color images when they were posted, determined there wasn't quite enough (for me) to work with...and simply found the B/W easier to use/view.

In doing several shots from the same shoot, there's usually one or two a photographer will take that just tends to 'work better' than the others...the position/particular pose of the subject, proximity of clothing to/reflection of light off the skin, flash angle, etc. That's why we like to see sessions with as many different shots in 'em as possible...it increases the odds of finding something decent.

(Wish there were more from this shoot, myself)

(As an aside: I also don't consider the quick contrast edit I did to be an 'X-ray' at all; it was just a little add-on to show, "Hey, there's somethin' here! Check it out!" A true X-ray requires (in some cases significantly) more work than that, depending on the image. Figured I'd let someone else take up that task, if they're so inclined.)

Didn't want to re-post all the images, so I just used the one I already did somethin' with...

I happen to be rather fond of B/W images myself (that's one of my favorite threads, like the old a.b.p.e.vintage board from Usenet), I'm just hoping another one of that shot with more image depth (maybe a color version, even?) pops up sometime soon. There's just somethin' about that particular image...

As for what's actually in the photo, let's dig a little bit deeper: here's a quick blended mult/screen/soft light of one of the color shots:



As we can see, on the right side, we've got lots of reflection from the flash off her boob from the area with only one layer of clothing to go through, which is pretty typical, and normal.

On the left side: hmmm, looks like a bit of reflected light around where the nipple/areola should be. There's certainly a nipple under there (unless she's a genetic mutant!)...the uniformity and shape of flash reflection could well be from a bit o' plastic (well, latex), which tends to reflect light more succinctly than one would expect of (non-uniform) skin through two layers of clothing. So, perhaps a covering after all.

The nipple just happens to show a bit better on the B/W, given the small amount of processing I did...simply one of the idiosyncrasies of that particular exposure - even if it happens to have all the contrast of one of the moons of Neptune as taken by Voyager!

I'm sure a true multi-pass X-ray of one of these would show more detail, of course, if someone else is so inclined...me, I'll probably wait for more candid photos to surface first.

I disagree, respectively. I believe the nipple is totally visible in the images I posted. The "reflection" you're seeing is just a light bloom and is also visible on the inside of her left breast, as well as on her face and arms. Unless you're suggesting she's been laminated from head to toe, then there's no reason to believe she's wearing a pasty.
