    Regarding deleted files---

    I read an article on another board about file hosts using a bit sum checking programme to delete copyrighted material. It basically said that every file as a unique bit sum and when its been flagged as copyrighted it gets deleted fast, no mater who uploads it.

    It was suggested that a way round this was to add something else, such as a txt document with a few words on it, a web page link or a pic that is unrelated to the file, and put both in a rar file. This then alters the bit sum and it escapes deletion until it’s reported again.

    Hope this helps, and again thanks for the uploads.

    Maybe u are right, cause if we look at ILTB files, it doesnt matter who or where u upload them, they will get deleted sooner or later, maybe with this method they will be up longer, who knows ? :)

    Thanks for all your posts. Its an amazing thread. But atm it seems like all posts on almost all hosts get deleted after 1 day or so and its all posters on this forum. So some one is definately reporting. The only host that seems not to delete is Oron, both Filesonic and Megaupload gets deleted. Sorry for all your great work. Lets hope the reporter is gone shortly.

    Oron doesnt help us a lot here, cause its not allowed and yes someone is definitely reporting, all my .rar files were deleted, so i think i wont be posting here anymore...

    And i'm sure about this, cause the 2 clips i posted a few days ago, arent owned by any sites, not ILTB, not CA, they were filmed by who knows who and they were deleted!

    how about posting clips as rars with passwords? it might delay the deletion of the files a lot. could be worth a try. but maybe pw postings aren't allowed on phun, i don't know, just an idea. thanks for all those great uploads we had so far in this thread tho!!
