Wallpaper of the month competition. Suggestion.

What do you guys think about having a wallpaper competition once a month?

It would be similar to SOTW but obviously the dimensions offer alot more possibilities and curiously limitations. Holding it once a month hopefully wouldn't get in the way of SOTW. It could even run for the full duration of the month to give people plenty of time to work on it.

 

I like it. Once a month is very far between though. Maybe forthnight? I'd have a go anyway.

I'm into it, I'm getting bored with the tiny sig dimensions and have been meaning to start into larger format PS stuff.

This'll give me some incentive to do so! :thumbs:

I'm kinda shit at walls too but i figure that this might be a way to develop some skills in p/shop.

What does everyone say about the time length then? Sid says two weeks which does sound a bit more sensible now that i think about it.

 

Nothing yet really. Winner decides theme and size. Discuss away.

 

i think monthly to begin with could be a good idea. then if it seems to be too slow, make it fortnightly?

although we´d rather prefer to have the "announcement" for rules etc. - we´re going to help to encourage as much phunners as possible to participate and/or vote.

just because - ever thought about alternating between Sotw and Wotw?
