Thanks, Riv. As always beautiful photos. I love poppies and lavender too. Actually just planted some lavender in my garden the other day!

 

amongst other benefits lavender is supposed to be a well-serving addition to bathing- and massage-lotions (lavare [latin] = to wash) and to support certain stimulations... (and where do poppies have their name from?)

miss the times when fields haven´t been "over"-cultivated and poppies, cornflowers, dog-daisies etc. had room (that still should be conceded to them).

high summer is over already again.
been a pretty amazing rush through the seasons this year - seems like nature felt to make up ground due to the long, cold, snowy winter.
most of the corn is mowed, birds of passage are already clustering... and it´s just end of july.

Things are goin good on my end...I'm working on a project right now that (hopefully) will be done by October. So far, I'm liking how it's turning out. I think it looks a helluva lot better than my stuff this time last year, so that's good.

I think when time permits, I gotta do another drawing of ya for ol' times sake
