    Paint.net is pretty close to being the same... It's what I use since it is free and only takes about 10mb of space for the install...
    granted you are missing a lot of tools, but for x-raying most of them are not needed anyway

    Nothing definitive on the bottoms, sorry! I did investigate the possibility when I first did the pic though ;)

    The Olivia Munn pic is kinda small to determine anything with a large degree of certainty - if you can locate a HQ version of it, then it might have some possibilities.

    It's image processing to bring out hidden details which may not be visible to the naked eye. Typically it's mostly adjusting the brightness & contrast and usually playing with the hue too Someone asked about it last week and I posted some links to a couple tutorials I did

    Generally for good results, you need something thin enough that allows light to bounce off the skin, as in a bright flash on a red carpet event, or clingy material that transmits body details through to the surface.
