Ariel:
Simon offers the crew a job: if they help him sneak River into an Alliance Hospital on Ariel so he can run diagnostic imaging on her, he'll tell them where to find medical supplies that will fetch an enormous price on the black market.

I really loved this eps because of all the situations they stumpled into. The sets were great. The hospital looked realistic and Holoimager was the best part of it. Every char got again some good dialogues:

Kaylee: Figures, first time on the Core, and what do I get to do? Dig through trash. Couldn't he send me shoppin' at the Tri-plex, or... Ooh! Synchronizers!

Zoë Washburne: [after zapping troublesome doctor from behind with defib paddles - deadpan] Clear.

Inara Serra: What's going on here?
Kaylee Frye: Oh, well, let's see. We killed Simon and River, stole a bunch of medicine, and now the Captain and Zoë are off springing the others got snatched by the feds. Oh, 'n here they are now!









War Stories:
Wash insists he be allowed to accompany Mal on a mission instead of Zoe... and immediately regrets it when the two are captured by Adelei Niska -- the client who previously hired Mal to steal the medicine bound for Paradiso.

Well, that was some really action-packed eps with torture and revenge and all the rest. Gina was great as the warrior who just wanted to rescue her captain at all costs! Inara showed another site of her job as she took a female client and River showed also a bit of the things that had been done to her at the institute. She shoots without watching! Very Happy Terminatrix...

Book: Oh, my.
Kaylee: Oh, gosh, I - I-I knew she took female clients, I just... They look so glamourous together.
Jayne: [beat] I'll be in my bunk.

ZOE: Okay, people... If it moves, shoot it.
KAYLEE: Unless it's the Captain!
ZOE: Unless it's the Captain.











Trash:
Mal is surprised to discover his old war buddy's new bride is Saffron (from Our Mrs Reynolds), he's even more suspicious when she offers him a partnership in a heist after he blows her cover.

Another eps with Christina Hendricks. She looks nice and not so "blown up" like she does now. I still believe she got an "improvement".

Great eps, btw. The best scenes were - Inara and Saffron at the garbage bin. - Simon and Jayne in the infirmary. - River's comment to Jayne in the infirmary. and - Mal sitting nekkid in the desert.

This eps has never been aired, btw.

Simon: You're in a dangerous line of work, Jayne. Odds are you'll be under my knife again, often. So I want you to understand one thing very clearly: No matter what you do or say or plot, no matter how you come down on us, I will never, ever harm you. You're on this table, you're safe... 'cause I'm your medic. And however little we may like or trust each other, we're on the same crew. Got the same troubles, same enemies, and more than enough of both. Now, we could circle each other and growl, sleep with one eye open, but that thought wearies me. I don't care what you've done, I don't know what you're planning on doing, but I'm trusting you. I think you should do the same. 'Cause I don't see this working any other way.

River: Also, I can kill you with my brain.

Mal: Yeah. That went well.
Inara: You call this going well?
Mal: We got the loot, didn't we?
Inara: Yes, but...
Mal: Then I call it a win. What's the problem?
Inara: Should I start with the part where you're stranded in the middle of nowhere or the part where you have no clothes?

I wonder how often they had to do this take?
