i took the biesties out for a trot in the woods this afternoon.
figured i would tote the camera with me and see what i could shoot

nothing to amazing, creek is frozen but not solid enough to drive the jeep on
its quiet out there, except for some jackass having to yell constantly at this fucking dogs that keep wandering off.

My uncle have a little cabin in Wärmland, not far from the Norwegian border. Right between Töckfors and Ärjäng.

Went to Spain in 2009 and here are a some of the pics I took during the trip.

 

Still crappy weather here in Denmark, everything is still frozen, can't wait for spring to come.

 

At the risk of sounding melodramatic (which I loathe)...this is my last posting to Phun.org.

Perfect4ths has made it clear that I am not permitted to self-host my original copyrighted images to the group. Instead, he/she is requiring that I upload my photos to a 3rd-party hosting service where I have no control over them.

In the past year I've come to enjoy the friendship of many of you here on Phun.org and the generous feedback you've given my photography. I'm going to sadly miss that. But come what may...mods will be mods.

Phun was fun...until those in authority decided it was advantageous to cut off their nose to spite their face.

I always thought the restrictions on imagehosts were there to limit the pop-ups and other annoing stuff like cash url’s.
Sadly even the “classics” like imagevenue and imagebam are infested with these nowadays.
Therefore I never got a problem with you hosting your own photos; just like some photography sites I frequent where they host member photos on their own expense … free of any pop-ups and other irritating stuff.

I’m not going to comment much further ‘cause my words on here are too often misread and well meant comment too quickly turned into something negative I never said.

Anyway to me you are/were an appreciated contributor and your photos a welcome change/addition to the Creative Backyard.

I wish you well and keep up the passion for photography.

ps: I'm not a facebook man but maybe, some day we'll meet again.

as for "the rest" - being one of the "bossy authorities" here... well, i better keep my mouth shut to avoid more "misunderstandings".

there have been chances to work on your issue, Silent Knight. apparently you didn´t want to wait that one day but decided to remove your pics. i (have to) respect that, but i don´t appreciate it.
