  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    The internet was not around when we lost the neighborhood mail boxes, so that is not the reason then; however, the US Mail is in dire financial straights now and the lost of revenue due to email, cheap telephone service, and internet financial exchange (bill paying) is most definitely a major contributor. Other parcel delivery services have also cut into the previous monopoly of the US mail service.....

    I used to write about 20 to 25 checks per month - now, 3 or 4. Everything else is e-pay or credit card that I now make payment via the internet. This saves me around $20 a month. The US mail is a dying institution; it may dissolve in my lifetime......Service to be provided by private service providers.....
