Can I post a selection of sigs I have made over the years but that have other websites names embedded in them?

This thread is for any sigs that aren't regulation size (450x150), so post away.

 

Yeah. Anything that doesn't fit into the 450x150 restriction can go in here. And if you look through the thread you'll see mine are from other forums too.

 

Well, I tried this as a sig, but it didn't look right 450x150. But nice to look at none the less. If someone wants it, I can adjust the images/layers and make it work if you wish.

Lol, I know. But all these sigs were requested. Not many people request here which is annoying because I want to make sigs but have gone off just making random ones
That's why I suggested the sig request thing, because I think more people would request and more people would have a go at fulfilling the requests.

I just make them for people regardless if they were requested or not, that way I don't lose interest waiting around for an idea.

I hear that. And I used to think the exact same thing, I used to love finding a great pic and making a sig out of it for someone, but with the introduction of clintinio... it's taken away everything that has to do with sigs.
A sig is meant to be something that represents the poster... a signature of that person and their personality.... not just a flurry of 12 sigs randomly showing up, it should be personal to the certain person that shows what they like and who they are, like you've done for me with the sid vicious sigs, I love them, they look deep and meaningful and I honestly wear them with some pride. Everyone should be doing that. And eveyone should be requesting a great signature and use the same one for a while then requesting another, rather than rotating the shite out of them.

NOW, whilst I'm on the subject, take p4 as an example, his rotations are cool because they are of the same theme, like when he went from the B&W girls with the black P and the red 4 to the military theme, thats cool. If you have themed rotating sigs,.
Others have rotating random sigs of "random" people, and tbh, it makes it hard to see who someone is. I know a few/many people's posts here just by seeing their sig in the corner of my eye and I can instantly detect their sense of humor/posting syle without having to look over to their name. Just saying..

Well listen, I'm drunk, I've read through this a twice, and I hope it make a lickle bit of sense, bar any spelling mistakes, but what I'm saying is, is try and make your "sig" a signature. Request something that you want and to represent you.

I fully agree Sid, I used clintonio for a short while but quit it not long after. It just gives it no personality, it just materializes the sigs as some snazzy little picture to follow your posts. And thus I think the point of it representing the poster themselves get's lost within that. That's why when I make a sig for someone (not fill a request) I try and think about what I know about them as a poster. You I took your name & avatar and worked into 2 Vicious sigs, SMI I used the Optimus avatar, Magge the yoda, Cold a blue ice theme, etc. They all mean something and represent the poster in a unique and somewhat personal way. That's not to diminish any of the work done with other sigs, I think it's just a matter of artistic opinion. And like you mentioned P4 and his rotation, it's a great utilization of the concept as they all have a relating theme. I don't know, I'm not trying to tell people what to do, I'm just agreeing with your statement.

I would like to see sigs get back to being more personal and representative of the poster themselves.
