If you search deviantart fro signature tutorials you get hundreds of them listed. If you see any that are really good then post them here.

Why not share the knowledge? And remember to trial and error with everything, find out how the tutorials do things and then make it work for you, advancing our skills is important. Well, it's important for me :D

Damn great idea for a thread Jamms!

I'm going to give that first tutorial a try later on tonight. It's always great to learn new techniques, in fact it's essential to keep the fun in making these things. Without new things to try it'd just grow stale.

Hopefully this should help more and more people enjoy making signatures and other stuff. Wee tutorials like this help raise the confidence of guys who might not feel up to the level of some of the phun pro's.

Making A Stroke Border In An Empty Layer

I've found this to be the easiest and best way to make borders for a sig, and I'm posting this tutorial for those who don't already use this method.

    1) In a new layer, select the outline area of your sig with the selection tool:

    2) Right click and select "stroke":

    3) Choose the width and color you want. Make sure it's set to "inside":

    4) And you're done! You have a fully editable stroke, in a layer all of it's own!
