Old threads - Please Read

Gentlemen,

I've just had to go through and lock about 8 threads from this forum, all mega old ones ranging from 2 months ago to three years ago. It is one of my pet hates, with so many good news ones around we don't want to see these current threads disapear into the sunset without comment, so that topics from '07 and '08 can make a brief resurrection. To the thread bumpers reading this thread, please click the 'thanks' button and close the thread, your gratitude will then have been shown without letting these ancient threads make their way back to the top.

So please, if you see an old thread, report it and if you feel inclined to bump an old thread, DON'T!

 

I hear ya pal, it's a tiring n00b ailment.

 

If it was just noobs I wouldn't be so mad, it's when people who've been here for half a year plus do it, and post Playboy pics etc that it makes you shake your head in amazement.

Feel free to copy it on, I hadn't noticed it being as much of a problem in the other forums, but then I'm only mega active in here out of the celeb/model/video forums.

If it's within 2 weeks, yes. If it's older, start a new one. This being an example, a new thread would have been fine, paying credit to the previous thread and alerting people to its pics, instead of bumping an '07 thread.

 

I cant understand why bumping is so bad.... ...but i go along with it...

No need, my good man. With all this stress I'm getting i'll all be gone soon enough.

 

A quick and to-the-point question: what to do if some downloading goodness is all wrapped up in a now invalid source? Not that I think bumping is acceptable in this case, but I also don't fancy the idea of searching the labyrinth that is the internet for something someone browsing around could easily have quick-easy ready for a reupload upon a lost soul's request.

Not sure I totally understand what you're saying, I'm still sluggish this morning.

If there's dead pics from a thread that is old or if the pics are from a now unapproved host that was valid before, a new thread can be created posting the pics again.

 

yeah I've done that a few times. if the links are toast or down I reup the pics to a good host.
