I just used found art on this. I didn't blend the images. It's Sherilyn Fenn from the film "Boxing Helena."

 

Been using this plugin for 5 months now, mainly for fine tuning photos. Tis indeed great software.
Nik Software also has Silver Efex Pro; professional filters for editing black and whites; pull and push processing and film grain adding like Ilford Delta Pro 400 and many others.

 

Come on Aust, that's not really fair.
I clearly remember your first pirate sig which was worked on by myself, Silent and if I remember good, Toolz. One even made a comment that it would not be long before it would end up in a museum.

I like all sigs here: some for their design, some for the effort put into it, some just for the fact that the author is involved in the creative process.

If you really are struggling with some sigs I think it's best to pm someone and hand them the .psd file via RS or some 'cause it's hard to tune up a 450x150 flat jpg image.

 

i for one hope you´ll reconsider your decision.

Austxsoul, I hope you reconsider your thoughts on this. Being creative is not all about what you receive either through money or cheers. Creativity of any sort, be it writing or painting will have just as many hating your work as their are liking it. You are creating something from your own thoughts and inspiration and if the final results make you happy than really nothing else matters. And if you enjoy creating, you should never stop due to reactions you receive or lack there of. Instead, take it as feedback for improvement. Just don't stop or alter what you enjoy just to make the masses happy or gleeful. Doing this will only impose false work at which does not come from your inner imagination.

A good analogy, to me, is Hollywood or the movie industry. Once upon a time, Directors and Producers were independent and free to create a movie that they and there fans would enjoy. Now, they must take a script to a corporate studio to get financing and rights to create the movie--just so the studio can make a quick buck. And, again to me, you see the crap coming from Hollywood today. Hollywood could care less if their movie received good ratings-only if the movie made a profit.

Anyway, I suggest you do what feels good to you. Most people here learned on their own through trial and error. You have to keep practicing and develop your skills. It is the best method and will surely make you a better creator.

Hey Aux. Don't quit mate. I think there must have been a thousand sigs in this and the old sig thread and i bet only fifty of them have been used. Well maybe a little more but we do it for the enjoyment of creation. I don't think anyone has used one of my sigs in months but i'll not stop making them. Its for fun.

Don't quit mate, keep posting them signatures.
