I just saw hays new one. Let me be the first to say goodbye to rehostit. I thought we were trying not to kill imagehosts.

 

I have to agree here with jamms.

Inuendo making animated gif sigs is very cool, but you have to consider the fact that they are very large in size.
2MB sigs are gonna kill any host quick.
I dont think its wise to waste hosts while we have them.

 

I'll delete them then, don't want to have another fucked up sig thread.

 

I do not belive that Innu3ndo should have to delete those sigs, al least not all of them. What was created was excellant and should be shared in this thread and the creative forum. That is what it's about.

But I do agree that these types of designs should not be used as actual sigs. That is what would cause major issues.

 

Gifs are imagehost killers. Period. End of story. Leaving them posted is fine, but please dont use them for sigs anymore.

 

There are some brilliant gifs here but using them as sigs just fucks things up.

I've made a few Avril ones and i love Spiderswims Eliza one and Jamms Tyler arse but those above are killers.

Don't take me wrong Toolz, I do agree with you and Jammsbro about protecting the image hosts.

One thing that those replying to a post with a "Quote" should think about is to not include the original gif. That just causes more bandwidth to be used and could cause at the very least the originals to be removed from this thread and the worst would be to lose another imagehost.

 

We all agree? Cool.

Lets quit spamming this thread.

 

Me and Hayd have both removed them from our sigs now, last thing i wanna do is be responsible for the loss of another imagehost which would fuck up all the hard work put into the encyclopedia thread.

Hayd I'll make you another non gif sig as a substitute.
