Hmm, not shure what you mean but as the preset mananger concerns, you can't preset an image size, only brushes and stuff and save them into the library so you can load them afterwards.

However, you can preset an image size, depth (8-bit etc) and other by clicking file/new. Here you can type in your settings (width-height etc) and save it under a specific name so the next time you can choose it from the library.
This is however a new blank file/image so you'll need to drag your image into it.

Don't reccon it's a good idea to resize (without keeping aspect ratio) any pic straight into 450x150 especially faces and bodies (do it sometimes with backgrounds and abstracts).

Anyway I don't start that way. I just work with the imported image whatever the size. I use the marquee tool to select whatever I want and copy or cut (richt mouse click) it to a new layer. I then trim the transparent pixels and look again at the size I obtained, working towards a 3:1 ratio.

In general I've never done a sig starting with 450x150 'cause that's just too small and rough to do some real work on it. If I start with an image that has a size of say 1600x1200 and I wanted to keep the full height of 1200, my custom new file will be 3600x1200.
When everything is done I resize it to 450x150 (bicubic for reduction) with max quality.

I realise this explanation may have raised more questions than answers ... blame my mother and father for that.

Just click File then New then punch in the dimensions, Name it and press Save Preset.

Sig looks realy good, I just think it's a little too bright. A little softer would've been perfect.

Whats2u... try blurring the edges of the hilary pics with a brush of about 5px to make them blend in with the background more.

Another way to blend picture and background together is by applying a gradient map on top of all layers and put the layer style to hue or color and playing with the opacity of that layer untill it looks cool.
