damn people, wish there was a way to make this thread pictures only.

c-through bud, you did good work, we understand you got butt hurt by comments made, but you aren't posting x-rays here any more, please stop posting is this thread, there is zero usefulness to it, other then running others off also. or go back to posting pictures and get thicker skin.

the little arguements every other page is annoying as hell, then when some one says something about it and then you explaining that it's not a arguement or a disagreement..... we all know what it's about, move along.

 

I totally agree with "isop"!!! This thread is getting ridiculous with all the comments and talking! This is a thread that is for X-ray photos, make another thread for everyones BITCHing! C-through please come back! You were by far the best X-ray'er there was and I totally miss your work.

I wish it could be pictures only too, and I've only spoken up now and in the past when people either weren't keeping with the ideals of the thread, or were just posting crap and calling it an X-ray with no bearing on the original image (A.K.A. faking it, which is not allowed on Phun by the rules)

Oh, I see, you want me to be your little X-ray monkey but I'm not allowed to have an opinion, nor am I allowed to point out when someone isn't showing you what you think you are seeing? My posting isn't an attempt to run anyone off, but to try to keep the thread what it was intended. If they are unwilling to post true content, instead of fakes, then by all means they aren't needed here. Again, from the rules:

Violators will not be warned. Their threads will just be automatically deleted/trashed. Repeat offenders will be banned.​

Since the mods seem unwilling to enforce these rules in this section, I was only attempting to do something to try and keep people honest. Sorry if you don't like it, but since they seem to ignore it I felt it was the only way to try and keep things on track in here.

When someone posts something that isn't true about something I post, what else do you expect me to do? (just like I have to now from your post)

I agree - far too many bad requests and then the people littering the thread with their own bumps, pictures with no names, and down right fakes. If these didn't exist, perhaps it could be only pics, but that would require some action by the mods.

A thread for replies would be ridiculous; if there is that much to bitch about then there's a problem with the content that's being posted, and nobody wants to acknowledge that fact. I thank you but unless there's some changes in this thread I won't be posting my pics here.

I leave you with the opening sentence of the original post, and ask if any of you can honestly say any criticism I've ever posted was anything not in line with what it was founded upon:

There is some "artistic" skill involved here, and so it's naturally open to criticism, just like any creative endeavor or artistic outlet. Since it's also based on "no fakes" then there should also be some burden of proof presented if someone questions what you present as genuine. All I've ever wanted was this thread to be as real as possible - is that so wrong?

This is getting ridiculous, how about everyone get back to posting x-rays and stop chatting. If you want to talk go to the General Forum. Stop critiquing peoples work, if you don't think someone did a good job on a pic then shut up and try and do a better version yourself.
