Cancer is not a funny subject

I'd think twice before picking on Billy S mate. He's one of the most respected guys around here.

That and the last half dozen guys to call him out haven't been seen since.

I doubt very much anyone here wants ti make fun of cancer patients but seeing as you are just in the door you might want to take a peek around and see if you can notice that nothing at all is sacred in phun. We take the piss out of everything. For laffs.

 

stop being a pansy and lighten up. the last thing you want to do is be new and start off complaining. if you know anything about this place, you'd know billy sastard is anything but clueless.

my grandfather has esophageal cancer and has been in the hospital in intensive care for the last 4 months basically slowly dying, my doctor and i thought i had testicular cancer for a two-week period last year which was the most terrifying time of of my life, my grandmother has breast cancer, and my cousin died 4 days ago from prostate cancer, and these topics don't bother me in the least.

if you can't laugh at anything, you are going to have a miserable whiney life, man.

i think it is more than a minority that has been affected by cancer on this forum. i would probably say a majority. and if someones way of facing this, dealing with it or trying to give their friends encouragement is humour now matter how sick or twisted. well, like i said before.

but what has a normal, on tennis-grounds quite familar sentence like "new balls please" in a thread about someone playing tennis and kissing the ball boy to do with joking about cancer???

well, celeb-forum... a not that familiar territory for me.

that could lead me to some (familiar?) statements about comments etc. in many celeb-forum-threads, but... better not, hm?!

 

I dont have cancer. But I do have spina bifida. If you dont know what it is, educate yourself. Its not a pleasant thing to have. But I try not to let it get me down. My biggest hurdle right now is trying to find a job. It seems no one wants to give me a chance as I could be a liability for their business. But what can you do?
