    I was really hoping theyd make up for the sad showing in season 2. But looks like they are sticking to their dumb prudish ways. Hate when shows do this.

    Altered Carbon is probably the worst offender. S1 had a full frontal nude asian sword fight & more while S2 had jack shit.

    No its the new showrunners/producers that took over in S2. They said in a interview they chose to drop nudity because they didn't need shock value or some such horseshit.

    This is correct, it is not the actress' fault or decision. Its the same show runners who essentially ran henry cavill off the show because they were/are taking the show in a stupid direction that has nothing to do with the source material that henry was very knowledgable in.

    Unfortunately I don't think Anya will ever be showing us the goods again.

    I work with a guy who claims to be family friends with her family. He has shown me pictures from family outings from ages ago. Apparently Anya almost declined the Witcher role because of the nudity requirement. She finally accepted it since it was going to be her big break.
    She has deep regrets about doing the nudity in season 1. She was upset in particular because she was the only major actress to go nude in the season despite the original script having nudity for the Renfri and Trish characters. Anya felt further victimized when her nude scenes leaked online before the show was even released. She grew depressed and was even on anxiety meds for a bit. She blamed herself for not negotiating harder.

    So now she's even more determined to put her foot down on any actual nudity and the show runners are also sympathetic. And forget about nudity in other roles because that is a non-starter.

    Take it for what it is. I believe the guy because he has shared other things that have checked out. I hope he's wrong but I'm just glad that we got multiple awesome nude scenes with tits and ass from her in season 1.

    ^^ hmm... Interesting, I noticed she lost a little weight, got skinnier... anxiety?

    And she seems pissed about Cavill being axed, apparently (rumor) trashed the producers direction of the series.

    The nudity of TV series especially the 1st season kick-off is what boost C-list Actresses to fame in the first place!

    It's hard to be believe but true, for those enticing actresses to stop character nudity usually "sets a count-down" of their popular show to a staggering cancelation.

    The Witcher Season 2 was lame, they had season 3 to redeem themselves but it crippled the show even more.
    The Witcher series will sink to the depths of the ocean, farewell!

    As for Anya Chalotra, she did look unhealthy & reserved in season 3 also she knew the cost of fame. I wish her career the best after the Witcher series get canceled.
