    Showing my age here but in the early 2000s this movie used to make the rounds on Comedy Central at like 1am every couple months. The first time I watched it, it was amazing seeing Keri Russell like that. And the version they showed had the nipple in the ending bedroom scene intact, an extra special bonus for staying up late besides the Girls Gone Wild commercials.

    One wonders why Keri was so cavalier about showing nipple here (both in the wet t-shirt scene and the bed scene) and yet so reticent about showing nipple later in her career

    Seems obvious to me. Many actresses are willing to show a bit of skin to get their foot in the door, so to speak. If they're fortunate enough later to be able to pick and choose their projects, what's in it for them to continue thatr? And they may become more reticent about showing their aging bodies.
