  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

Doe, thanks for the effort, but that's not a remaster. If you have a lower bitrate at 4k than the 1080p, then something is wrong.

The YT version was listed as "remastered" and that original does have a much higher bitrate than what I posted as I ran my final edit through Handbrake to get the size down.
If you want the higher bitrate original it's on YT.
I also did some contrast and color tweaks in addition to editing and slow-mo.
My compressed PQ does look better to me than the 1080p versions I've seen.

(edit: my 5Gb lossless edit file has an artificially high bitrate compared to the original YT version, so not worth uploading)

There are several web sites that do it, just Google "Youtube download". I also use a program called "4k Video Downloader".

I'm not who you asked and he may have a better option, but I've been using YT-DLP all year and I'm pretty happy with it. Takes a few minutes to set up (and can be a bit intimidating if you're not familiar with command line programs), but it works on a lot of other sites too.
