It’s not popular in current day Hollywood to do gratuitous sex scenes just for the sexual gratification of men. So I’m guessing that’s not why she filmed this scene. She’s fully nude. She knows we’ve all seen her fully nude. But the scene is us seeing her character naked because she was forced to expose herself to her clothing thieves. There’s nothing erotic about it. She then kicks the shit out of the clothing thieves and gets her clothes/dignity back. She was a producer and had creative control. I bet there’s a good chance that behind the scenes this scene was being written as a metaphor for her nudes being leaked. And her getting revenge on the leakers and re-empowering herself. That’s how these creative types think.

The executives on the other hand, they know pretty girl + naked = money.

It's extremely easy to do these things in post. They're even used for reedits and remasters of existing films. It didn't involve nudity but both Michael Mann on Heat and Francis Ford Coppola on Apocalypse Now used it for the latest version of their films. Coppola for instance was elated that he could now surround Marlon Brando with shadows and hide his gut much more precisely than before.

 

If there's one thing we know about JLaw its that she shaves very well, so yeah, almost certainly a merkin. It makes sense, she's out there for hours or even days in front of a bunch of dudes filming, gives her the slightest sense of privacy.

I've known plenty of chicks who have no problem getting their tits out, but they draw the line at the vagene.

Honestly, JLaw is a marketing whiz. She is a producer on this movie and the film -- a weird romantic comedy -- had a less than zero chance of making a significant profit. So she makes sure everyone knows that it's hard R "raunchy" and that she has a legitimate nude scene and voila -- guaranteed profit. Loads of people who would never go to the cinema will be going, and the home video and streaming sales will be huge.

Sydney Sweeney's done the same. If there is anyone who thinks that the trove of bikini pics "from Sydney Sweeney's new rom-com, due out later this year" were an unwanted accident, I've got a bridge in Brooklyn you're probably interested in buying.

 

Loads of people who would never go to the cinema won't go to the cinema either, as it's too much of an effort for them, or buy the film when it's available for streaming or on video. They'll wait a month for the HD or UHD scene to surface at the same time the film is available. The days where the promise of one particular actress having a nude scene in a movie being enough to draw male crowds have been over for a long time.

 

Thats true but her star power alone powered this to over $15M OW in US. That is almost impossible in these times for an R rated comedy and yeah she has said on a talkshow that is her body in that nude scene
