I wonder if Alexandra Daddario will show anything.

 

I fear it will be a disappointment.

 

the fact this little scene is all she did in the show is soooo disappointing and really makes zero sense, must have owed someone a favor or something so they asked her to be in a 30-second scene just so they can say she's in this season

 

Haven't seen the episodes yet. But the trailer has her in a pool? So she should have more scenes in this season.

 

I thought it was terrible, gave me the impression the nudity will be tame.

Daddario is good friends with producer, she was wasted here, but my guess she has a missing scene with the lead, just my but feeling.

 

if she does then nobody knows about it, so I am highly doubting it... she did a favor for the producer by doing 1 short scene and that's it

 

Yeah being honest i can see the sex and nudity being tamer this season as well, it was filmed last year right? I can imagine they wanted to keep contact between stars on the low side so having graphic sex scenes every episode could be tricky and more hassle then its worth, hopefully i'm proving wrong as both S1 and S2 had some great sex and nudity in it.

 

If that is the case, then I think everyone should give this season a rave review so it happens. It would probably be too much for a lot of us to handle(imagine Daddario as the star of a season like the first 2), but what a way for us to go

 

This is very unlikely - there's never been any relationship or continuation between the seasons - they are completely separate storylines. Think you're clutching at straws here.

Alex's character has some more scenes toward the end of the season - it's been talked about in interviews, how her relationship with Julia's character is not how it initially seems.

 

Maybe she just really needed the work, as other projects were cancelled.

Just going by what's been said in previews and interviews regarding the size of Alex's role:

"In the season 3 trailer, there’s a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment of Alexandra Daddario making an appearance. HollywoodLife asked Julia if she could spill any scoop about Alexandra’s mysterious character. “Her character’s name is Tawny, and she is another GFE,” Julia said. “Her and Iris are friends from Harvard, and she helps gets Iris to this world. But throughout the season, we realize that they have this really complicated relationship where they don’t really trust each other. That leads to some really difficult things unraveling in Iris’ life.”

As for any crossover between seasons:

"So there's nothing like it out there in television to have this sort of filmmaker-driven show, re-imagining the anthology series. Every season is so different and specific and unique in its approach" - Anja Marquardt

I know people desperately want to find some link or angle that hints at Alex doing nudity here, but this one is a dead end. They don't even know if there'll be another season or who'll be the creative lead, so no way they would be casting someone based on a future storyline.

Much more interested in if Julia does anything this season - I guess we'll know in a few weeks when the non-reviewed episodes come out.

 

They're honeydicking the network into a season 4 built around Alexandra's Daddarios. Probably won't work, but it's worth a try for a show so niche.

 

Julia was a big miscast imo. Just don't see how it gets better, I can see what the producers intention was but it's missing the mark.

AD is wishful thinking but Louisa Krause was the best in the role. Riley second.

 

Been a fan of this show from season one; this one has been mild on the explicit sex scenes so far, and I'm probably in the minority here when I salute the show's ambition with the whole AI-neuroscience angle.

 

Honestly, a season based around Alex would be pretty dull --

Episode 1 - Alexandra Daddario shows up as a high priced escort.
Episode 2 - She makes a zillion, trillion dollars almost immediately as customers fall all over themselves.
Episode 3 - She retires.

Pretty short season, IMO...

 

since 99.9% of the viewers would only be watching to see her breasts in the nude again anyway, i don't think it would matter how long the season is... hell, give us 1 episode of all the nude scenes from the entire season and it can be that long and not a second longer

 

She should not only appear in the new season, but she should be fingerbanged after hours in a Chuck E. Cheese ballpit while Foghat’s “Slow Ride” plays.

It’s so patently absurd it might actually work.

 

Why are you so sure she won't get them out again?

 

At least she did. Not like others prude celebs.
