The Black Death resulted in the deaths of up to 75–200 million people in Eurasia and North Africa, peaking in Europe from 1347 to 1351.

Add that they were worse Winters in living memory (till then) and the crops failed for 4 years.

and there was no Elle Fanning.

 

Is that state California? Because it would make perfect sense.

Morning,

Its Sunny and 11c and it really feels like Monday.

So in the UK, the 10pm pubs shut/doors closed and everybody stays outside the pubs (without masks), then go on public transport/taxis all at the same time = Fuck up.
The lockdown Uni (students confined by private security guards in their halls of resident) = Fuck up.
Those students had to pay up front for their accommodation and are now in lockdown, nobody seemed to consider that students together would infect each other with Covid 19,
predictable eh, nobody in government seems to have thought of that.

Enough ranting.

I saw Enola Holmes

I was surprised i enjoyed it much more than i did.

(I still feel MBB in "real life" in interviews is really annoying).

Yes she breaks the fourth wall so much that the audience should be on the Cast list.
But i have to say it really works and after a while i failed to notice it.

Enola definitely has the Holmes gene, Helena Bonham Carter as her Mother is brilliant, Sam Claflin as is a reptile as in the original stories.

But Henry Cavill was brilliant (and is a really nice guy) as Sherlock, cast him in a stand alone film!!!!

Loved the look and the supporting cast.

It was directed by Harry Bradbeer, who was the producer on "Fleabag", maybe the Fourth wall genre fits into place.

Purists may say, Enola was never in the books, as was Mycroft, never mentioned until he appeared.
I must check out the book its based on "The Case of the Missing Marquess: An Enola Holmes Mystery" By Nancy Springer.

Interestingly it was Produced by Millie Bobby Brown and her Mother Penny, in others words they put their own money into the project.
They provided work and opportunities for people just starting out in the business.

Just as Keira Knightley has done before and more recently Maisie Williams did in "Two Weeks to live", still can't understand why Watson has never done that.

If you're interesting in the Apollo space programme, highly recommend "Mission Control on Netflix.

I started this during lockdown, i highly recommend it, its excellent!!!!

He was cute, unlike his "music".

 

Btw If you can see it, I'm hooked on "Ghosts" (just starting S2 on BBC1 in the UK).

It stars Charlotte Ritchie (yum) from "Feel Good".
