The morning has flown by.

Oh yeah my first visit to the National Gallery went well, there's always security.
So it wasn't that different getting in (you can no longer walk in, you need to pre-book)
but as numbers are restricted, so its a lot quieter than before, (less tourists going from
famous painting to famous painting, in a race to take a Selfie with it (takes one minute) and moving on.

Only real drawback is you can no longer wander, there's a direction of flow.
But once you get used to it, you can still see everything.

But London is a lot quieter and with far fewer tourists.

This is and reduced entry is having a impact.

It is the first time the guards have faced redundancy since the unit was formed by Henry VII in 1485.

Saw the final episode of "The Plot against America" last night.
Highly recommended and scarily accurate to current events.

 

With a name like that it makes me think of the works of Dinesh D Souza. So i had too look it up.

 

The Plot Against America has many parallels with today, and some of the writing especially in the final episode
is so bang on to today, especially when you consider the script could be have been written anything up to 2 years+ ago.

Not sure what the weather forecasts are for this week, but head down to Torquay and work on a tan to upstage Dua, Sophie. I know your at work but it was a thought atleast.

The thing is people in Devon & Cornwall and the South West don't want to see people
from London & the SE making the journey down there, the R rating is higher in the SE.

Since the ease back on the Lockdown, there has been travel to the SW
and their previously low R rating has risen.

Sometimes its what you can't see..


Gene pools have always fascinated me, how some Mother's & daughters bare no resemblance
and others, for example, Vanessa Paradis* & Lily Rose Depp look so alike.


*Claim to fame, i have a signed vinyl single of Vanessa Paradis's hit "Joe Le Taxi".
I'd add the video of it, but she 14 when she sang it.

 

Busy day today, Boss & Moi have been visiting the Casting company that the Bosses parent company have brought.

This is so French (brings back memories) Perrier/long lunches/street cafe, even if they chose a tourist cafe (Happy Hour).
Now i've reminded myself we were in France this time last year for the Women's World Cup
