So agree, love babies, even more when i can hand them back.

Its not (in my book) a case of being a bad ass or societal norms, its not normal for a adult (especially a teacher)
to hit/smack a child across the face. I didn't say a great deal in class (apart from the subject we were being taught).
She'd hit other girls and i swore if she did that to me i'd do something.

I was sitting at my desk, i answered her question, she didn't like my answer (Q: Why didn't Henry VIII value his Daughters).
She slapped me across the face, i stood up (I was taller than her) and slapped her back.

She looked shocked, i didn't give her the chance to send me to the Head.
I picked up my books, put them in my bag, said "I'm going to the Head" and left the class.

There were Nuns that were lovely, others that were jealous of Younger Girls "growing up".

 

And all of a sudden its autumn at my end. We need rain of course but isnt it just fun how this always happens on the summer break.



I think the funniest thing about this clip is how clueless John Travolta is. Maybe the rumors about him are true. If they are its his life.

 

Awwww, they're not that bad. Though I always say that I will handle them when they're happy, but if they're sick, sleepy, cranky, puking/pooping that's when I let someone else take over lol.

She deserved to be slapped back IMO. Why didn't Henry VIII value his daughters? IDK; maybe because he was a misogynistic psychotic brutal asshole? IDK if that was your answer, but it is certainly mine.

And if it wasn't so rebellious, then others would have slapped her, so therefore you're a badass Yeah, we would have been a good team in school... well, good for us but a massive headache for parents and school staff we're the square pegs they try to fit into round holes

do you have any summer vacation Sophie?

Im on my second week here. The standard here is that you get 4 to 5 weeks which you can take out any time of the year. Not that i can do much travel Sweden is quarantined by all other countries.

 

Hopefully something in August, I’m hoping to spend some of it at my Aunts house on the South Coast.

its actually a law here that employers must give their employees atleast 4 weeks of vacation. There is more to it than that as we have a large history of unions here but that is the very basic gist of it.

 

Just so i get it right its paid vacation not as much as a normal paycheck but i think its around 85% it can wary somewhat depending on where you work and union agreements.

 

Take your time. My list would be different if I spent more than a minute on it. I like Emma Watson but more like a beautiful granddaughter. She was so young in the first one.

 

Staycation for the win! Mine starts in 2 weeks.

 

Morning, Tuesday in work, its beginning to be a "New Normal".

I'm getting used to the "Clinic Smell", when i come in first thing to work.

I'm getting to ignore people on public transport who don't wear a mask.
I just think "Fucking Covidiot*".

Pubs/Bars re open, I've been to a Pub in the countryside, its was strange.
But it worked, i haven't been to one in Central London.

There have been three pubs that have closed since they reopened on July 4th, after confirmed cases.

Most of all i'd love to be on a beach in the Sun.

Distant connection to Dua, last Summer i met a girl who went to school with Dua.
A few years ago Dua paid and flew her school mates with her for a beach holiday.
All accept that girl i met, why not her?

She bullied Dua when they were in school together.
Moral of that tale? don't be a fucking bully.
