Wifey and her Uncle (he's here for a away day Rugby Pub op), we went to see 1917 on iMax. I've seen it on the cinema before, but OMG on iMax and the sfx/music.

Ok before we saw 1917, Wifey was in the bath and I decided to finally see ep1 of new L Word.

Just as it started Wifey's Uncle sat next to me.

Now said Uncle is a big guy (taller than me) he has old school tatts and runs a company that provides security for clubs/events.

He's actually lovely, but you wouldn't cross him.

He sat next to me and first scene in New L Word was... two girls fucking in bed in a soft porn Nude type way. Uncle looked and slowly started to sink into Sofa.

Minute later he said "I'll leave you to it".

Enjoyed ep1, but I may leave it for now and start on the new Amazon Video drama "Hunter", Al Pacino!!!

I don't feel as bad falling over, ok Al is in his 70s, but he fell over on the Bafta Red carpet, he was OK, but the day after his 40 Yr old girlfriend dumped him.

This morning, Uncle and me went boxing, (Wifey stayed in bed), he wouldn't spar with me, but he did with one of the guys, this guy was in his late 20s, Uncle is 62.

Uncle ran rings around younger guy.

Rugby this afternoon plus full Irish Breakfast x3.

Awww, poor guy on one hand he probably wanted to watch that desperately. On the other hand, he probably didn't want to seem like a pervert to a lady such as yourself.

Polite of him to not want to spar with you. And his performance proves that age is not always the decisive factor in athletic ventures. I would be curious about a spar between you two though, considering you would be at a height disadvantage for once. Odd question; would you spar with wifey? Or would you both be like " I can't risk hurting your beautiful face "?

 

Wifey has already seen new L Word (still loathe Bette, love Alice, lust after Shane & liking new new character Finlay).

I think it's a generational thing, his generation didn't box Women in a ring.

He has me on weight, I'm quicker.

I'm of your generation and I couldn't box a woman I think. Not because I believe "Oh, they're so much weaker than me" but it's just a stance I have where I can't be remotely violent towards a woman due to what I experienced in infancy among other things(and besides, I have a feeling the likes of yourself could pound me into the ground with your toughness and skills lol). Awww, she must have hated when you split your eye a while back while boxing hopefully she kissed it and made it better
