Love it, with some of ours we're meant to be mind readers, they change plans by themselves they don't inform us
and we're meant to be aware of it.

I love Edinburgh and the Fringe but its a really strange month, you have so many artists/performers, etc (they say London
moves to Edinburgh but there are performers from all over the World), all working in an area a few miles square, they' re
living in various (vastly overpriced) apartments for a month, they performing daily (some of them two performances a day)
then you're out partying, going to see other shows until the early hours.

Then for many, you're up early the following morning and out on the streets promoting another day's show.

This goes on for a month with two days off, its the Worlds largest arts festival and when you're there you can see why.

Is Adrian Moorhouse the bald guy?

 

I have a vague memory of Duncan Goodhew for the media stuff he did after his swimming career ended.

Adrian Moorhouse doesn't register.

 

Seems like my little blog has become a bit of a ghost town.

Oh well all good things.

Tonight I'm watching
At Eternity's Gate...

I went to the Van Gogh exhibition at Tate Modern in London and loved it. Its on until August 10th if you're in the UK.

I can't say who my favourite artist is, but Van Gogh is definitely up there at the top of the list.

Something I didn't know until recently was that Van Gogh lived in London a few miles away from where I live, he worked in a Art Dealers in Covent Garden.

 

I strongly recommend watching the animated feature loving vincent if your interested in him. Animation to die for that closely resembles the style he used in his paintings. It did remind me a bit in its style of a scanner darkly where they had actors doing the scenes but thet are animated afterwards. So what you see is a scene of an animated version of the actor.

 

I have it thanks, I plan to see it before I leave for Edinburgh.

I've been asleep for the last 12 hours, kinda freaked out. So there's my reasoning for being absent, unless you want to hear my captivating tale of gorging on pizza.

 

Depends on what sort of pizza it was?

it is really hard for me to put an artist as the absolute number 1 it fluctuates alot depending on where i am in Life. At the moment i like the work of Chris Foss and his landscapes and spaceships of outer space. At the same time as far as more traditional paintings goes i like a local painter from where i live called Lars Lerin.
