Kind of has a point, but on the other hand after going into a GoT reaction video rabbit hole it seems that not even all of the cast was particularly thrilled with how the final season went down, but that discussion is best for the GoT thread. For here, I'll say it's cool of Sophie T to stand up for all who worked on the show which rocketed her career among others.

Had some thunder showers last evening over my sleepy town. Its something serene about laying in a couch with lit candles and just enjoy the show outside. Thunder noises and rain smattering away on the windows.

 

I love Thunder & lighting!!!! I have a attic window with a view of London and I've seen some amazing storms.
Laying on a couch with lit candles and watching the light show sounds like bliss!

Plus after a lighting storm the air is filled with positive ions & makes you feel good!

In Australia we have some amazing storms, when I lived in Oregon we had a lighting
strike on the road outside our house, the impact looked like a cross between Thor & Star Trek.

I'm a fan too, I've always found your basic storms rather calming actually. Only problem is where I live the power goes out easily, which sucks. I've seen trees split by lightning, and one of the things that amazes me is how given the extreme heat in a lightning bolt, that the surrounding area and trees no matter how close to the strike, aren't affected in the slightest. Kind of like how a tornado will level one house completely yet the one right next to it doesn't have a scratch, wonders of nature I suppose.

From current personal experience, if you love rain so much can you take some of mine? We are in a constant flood warning right now, we've had 2-3 more days and nights of constant heavy rain and thunderstorms. We've got so much water right now that the city is opening up hydrants and our water facilities(causing tremendous loss of water pressure in the home, which is fun when trying to shower) to try to ease up the buildup of flood waters. We have big pools of water seeping up through our roads lately too. If you want to know the path we're starting to go down here, look up the flood of 93 in the U.S. and know I'm way too close to the big MO River for comfort with the constant rain.

I wish they'd of continued "Firefly" & that they didn't muck up S2 of "Doll House"
and that they of continued "Space Above & Beyond" (only ever seen on my Dad's VCR tape)
and that they didn't cancel "Timeless", in the case of "Timeless" it might just might come back.

But remake S8 of GOT, dream on.

Delighted you joined in So agree! Firefly was ahead of its time & like Star Trek Enterprise fell to the old problem of Networks
not having faith in the show, tied to ratings and moving it around the schedule.

At least now there might be more opportunities with Netflix/Amazon & Hulu?
