  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Yes, I saw that, but also: "Streamable files will be deleted after 60 days inactivity ( non streamable files after 30 days of inactivity )"

    So, unless the forum rules say don't convert, I'll let them convert to keep them live longer.

    It toes the line on promoting the optional host since those end up being higher quality. But it isn't really your doing, and with such small files it hardly makes much difference to the downloader. Something new for mod discussion, for now carry on :)
